CRA Announcements

It is with a great deal of sadness we inform you of the passing of Willy Miller from the Salem Motocycle Club.  He passed away on Friday July 18th.  For many years, Willy was the driving force behind the Salem Motorcycle Club and one of the inital members in the CRA nearly 30 years ago. A husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many in our racing family over the years. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers

There has been a date change announced for the Lorain County Fair. The event will be held on Sunday August 24th not Aug 30th as was listed on the CRA schedule  Remember this is an Amherst event and all questions and pre entry should be forwarded to them

One of the CRA Quad Harescramblers has a new website up....kind of a online hangout for Quad racers. Changes to CRA racing events will be posted there, in addition to PitRacer and the CRA website. Check the place out at http:// chopracing.freeforums.org

Sunoco Race Fuels Named Official Fuels of CRA Series   

Bazell Oil Company and Sunoco Race Fuels are pleased to announce their involvement with the Competition Riders of America racing series.  CRA is made up of several divisions involving riders of all ages from Pee Wee to Super Senior classes, with approximately 5000 members.  The series has events scheduled at tracks throughout northeast Ohio and western Pennsylvania. 

Sunoco Race Fuels has been named the Official Fuel of the CRA Series.  Eight races on the CRA schedule will be named Sunoco Double Points races.  Racers will not only be vying for double points, but also for Sunoco Race Fuel certificates.   

IIt has been a pleasure working with Dave Hand and Jeff and Monique Sanders, board members of the CRA Series, to put this deal together,” said Tim McWhorter of Bazell Race Fuels.  “We were welcomed as members of the CRA family right from the start.  We are very impressed with the series and the dedication the board shows to its members and sponsors.”
